Loud mouthed Youth.

The outgoing chief of MACC was constrained to say in public that he had been “advised” not to comment on a statement by UMNO youth activist Khairul on an alleged plot to arrest arch thief Najib. Not that Khairul referred to Najib in those terms. Far from it. Who cuts off his income by letting his tongue wag?

It is, however, a comment on dictator Najib’s Malaysia that so senior a civil servant should have to make such a public statement. Everyone knows that former Attorney General Ghani Patail gave a green light to apply for a warrant to arrest Najib for financial crime and also that running dog Khalid tipped off Najib in time for the latter to sack Ghani overnight and install the creep Apandi in his place.

No amount of pressure on senior public servants will keep that genie in its bottle. It is, one may suppose, a measure of Najib’s recognition of that fact that the insignificant Khairul was chosen to make that ridiculous statement. He can always be thrown to the wolves if necessary at a later time. Does he realise that?

The problem with serial lying is that it grows exponentially with time and those engaged in it lose track of what lies have been told, when and by whom. In that context one thing is certain. No matter how many totally insignificant mouths are used to spread Najib’s lies it is he who will pay the ultimate price for promoting them
