No Bail Out?

Appearing once more on a whole series of new charges ex PM Najib pleaded for time to produce the new bail required of him. Surely it does not take the suggested month to free up money however deeply it may be buried outside Malaysia.

The country will have it all back in any case so he might as well produce some of it now. Of course he could always take the alternative. Remand in custody. That at least would get him ready in part for the penitential life which is his clear future.

Since the Court process is necessary before he can start to pay for the whole series of crimes which are common knowledge to all Malaysians there should be the absolute minimum of delay in bringing him, and others, to trial. Already he stands convicted in the court of public opinion and the less delay in bringing forward the judicial process the better.
