It emerges that someone else paid for insuring twenty vehicles registered to former UMNO boss Zahid. Quite why someone needs twenty vehicles is for the owner to explain and also, at least to the taxman where the money to buy them came from and was it declared for tax?
Perhaps voters should not be too surprised by this news, coming as it does just after Najib admitted spending oublic money on a luxury watch as well as other items. Clearly the UMNO leadership felt free to spend public money on private luxury items and they are having their chance to explain this licence to criminal courts.
The lesson for Malaysian voters must that a party led by such persons, and for so long, cannot be trusted with public money. Not even one sen.
