Reportedly sneaking after paying RM i million to “compound” corruption charges, UMNO Secretary General Ahmad Maslan said that he was a “victim” who would not have had to pay if different laws had been passed!

Such as a law authorising UMNO and PN to steal public money when and how much as they pleased?

He does not appear to understand how lucky he is not to have been prosecuted and forced to join fellow crook Najib in jail. Nor, it appears. does he realise that his comments sum up UMNO and PN corruption for the general public. How many members of the latter could expect to be let off if they stole the same amount?

If nothing else this incident confirms how deeply corruption has spread in Malay politics. The voters will know what to do about that!
