Folk in Mujok, a part of the Meluan state constituency, want to return to the Barisan Nasional (BN) fold in the coming state election.

They used to support a BN candidate but he left the coalition to be with the opposition a few years ago. This caused them not to get as many minor rural development projects as they deserve.

Folks from Rumah Ringgit in Nanga Seuong, Rumah Robert Datu in Nanga Maong, Rumah Ngelambai in Nanga Telesa and Rumah Bajau in Rantau Kuyang – all in Mujok area – voiced their desire to Julau MP Datuk Joseph Salang during his recent visit to the area.

Just as Chief Minister Adenan is speaking in London about turning over a new leaf and installing honest government, the Mujok area offers a picture of the real BN Sarawak.

Having committed the “crime” of voting for an oppositon candidate these poor people saw themselves at once deprived of all government aid.  If they want it restored- and they do- there is only one way. Re-defect to BN.

Realising that they live in a totally corrupt state they are now promising to do just that and are publicly praised for it by the Taib controlled Press.

If Adenan wants people to trust him he needs to thoroughly cleanse the entire system. But at the end of the day actions must follow words and Adenan’s hands are tied.
