We refer to YB Tony Pua’s latest statement in which he has yet again recycled old allegations that have been proven wrong.

YB Tony Pua continues his disservice to all Malaysians by relying on findings of a discredited foreign blog to make his allegations, when 1MDB has submitted authentic company documents, including its Board of Directors (BoD) minutes, to lawful authorities such as PDRM and the Auditor- General.

YB Tony Pua knows the Auditor-General’s findings will be presented, per due process, to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). It is self-evident that YB Tony Pua is arrogantly undermining the Auditor-General investigations and the PAC hearings by selectively presenting information to score political points.

Arul Kanda’s big defence is that the allegations against 1MDB are ‘recycled’.

How lame! The world is much in favour of recycling these days and he should understand that if he can’t answer the questions they will continue to be put to him.

Typically, for example, when asked if the minutes we published last week were genuine, he just rabbits on about Sarawak Report being a “discredited foreign blog”… and doesn’t answer the question.

Yet the Editor of Sarawak Report was honoured with the stage at last week’s Global Investigative Journalism Conference in Norway and this week is honoured by an invitation to the US Women of Courage in Journalism Awards in New York.

Has anyone been inviting Arul Kanda over anywhere nice in recent weeks?

Maybe BN’s new Australian PR team (more taxpayers’ cash) can rustle up an event or two?
